How can I work as a nurse in the USA without acquiring work experience in my country, Philippines

How can I work as a nurse in the USA without acquiring work experience in my country, Philippines?
I wonder if there's a way by which I can just pass the CGFNS and NCLEX and undergo my training in the USA prior to hiring without gaining work experience here in the Philippines. Thank you in advance for your helpful and informative response!

No .. there is no more of the schedule A nurse visa which ceased in 2006 and POTUS just wanting home bred nurses only A few nurses have got H1B visa but they were highly specialized and highly trained
2 :
You can work as a Female Caregiver or a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).

You cannot! Visas for nurses ended several years ago, so with or without experience, with or without your BSN, you cannot get any employment visa to work in the US. BTW, only employers can obtain employment visas for their employees - individuals cannot apply for such visas. But since you are not eligible for any sort of employment visa, you cannot apply for any jobs in the US. If you became a legal permanent resident, then you try to pass NCLEX and get a nursing license. If you had LPR + state nursing license, then you could start looking for a job in the US. But if, say, you have a sibling who is a US citizen and meets all requirements to sponsor your immigration, it will take about 22-26 years after approval of the petition for you to get an immigration visa, and you must wait in the Philippines all that time for your visa. Waiting lists are extremely long from Mexico, Philippines, etc.

POEA has the policy that for you to work abroad, you must have work experience. Then employers require that you have at least 2 yrs exp if you apply for working visas. If immigrant visa, there's a retrogression right now.

You can apply for a nursing license in the state in which you wish to work. They will assess your education and decide if you are eligible to write the NCLEX. If you pass it you will be granted a nursing license. The bigger stumbling block will be getting a Green Card allowing you to work in the US. Currently it takes about 5 years due to retrogression.

How can I get her an work Visa to obtain a nursing job here in the USA? I know there is a shortage of nurses here in the USA, and we both want her to be here. How do we do it, and who do we need to contact...I live in Atlanta, Georgia. Thanks

The only way she can work in the U.S.is to have a contract with a specific comoany for a specific period of time...OR to apply to immigrate. You may want to explore getting a fiance visa for her. See sites below.
2 :
If she is your fiancee I think it's better to apply for Visa K1 http://russianwomenshome.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?board=6.0
3 :
I believe that before being able to participate in nurse programs she should pass several exams because medical systems in Ukraine and US are different. Here's information (in Russian) what exams she should pass, the information is for russian citizens but i don't think there's difference with ukranians in this process. http://www.medcectra.ru/faq.html A nurse should pass 3 exams: 1. TOEFL or IELTS (for the level of english) 2. Medical qualifying examination CGFNS 3. Medical examination NCLEX for obtaining the american license The whole immigration procedure after passing the exams takes app.6-12 months. Here is the information about this process in Ukraine (Kiev) http://free.prohosting.com/arrive/nurse.htm The exams are the same I don't think it's easy and in any way K-1 visa (fiancee visa) will allow you to be together sooner.

To reduce time and aggravation and, ultimately, cost, you should hire an immigration attorney. The one that I recommend (and am using) is Holmes and Lolly at http://www.fianceevisas.com

If you move to the USA, you gotta pass the NCLEX to get licensed. The good news is, it's very easy if you studied in school. You can get a H-1C Nurse visa to work in the USA but still must take the NCLEX.
2 :
No you have to pass the NCLEX, same as they would have to pass the CRNE if they came here.

There are several ways to become a nurse in the US. Be aware though that MANY programs have waiting list at this time due to high demand and a low number of professors. An LPN takes less than 1 year of school usually. You will have restrictions as to what you can do because of the shorter schooling. Each state's board of nursing decides the limitations for LPN. Pay is usually less for LPNs also and advancement can be difficult. This kind of nurse is not as popular anymore. You can get your associates degree in nursing. This is what you are thinking about when you talk about community college degree. While this is a two-year program at most schools, it may take you longer than that if you need prerequisite classes such as math and English. The two-year part is strictly nursing classes. If you get your associates, and pass the NCLEX (exam after school), you become and RN. Check out this link for more info http://www.become-a-nurse-now.com/nursing-degree.html A BSN is a bachelor of science in nursing. It is a traditional 4-year degree. You also become and RN with a BSN. The difference between an associates and bachelors degree is the amount of room for advancement in the workplace you have, such as management positions. Some areas of the country pay nurses who have their BSN more. If you ever want to get your masters degree (become a midwife, nurse practitioner, professor etc), you will need a BSN. As far as how good a nurse is--a 2 year degree is fine for the education. I recommend getting a 2 year degree and then working on your BSN while you are working as a nurse for a lot of people. I have many friends who have done this and they are excellent nurses.
