Bachelors in Physical Therapy? Accepted in USA?
I am planning on studying Physical Therapy in the Philippines and then going to America to get a job. As far as I know, you need MASTERS degree to be a Physical Therapist in America. Does that affect students who graduate from the Philippines? Meaning, would it still be possible to get a license to work in America even if you only got a Bachelors degree.. In short, will my Bachelors degree be permitted license to work in America. Or would it be utterly useless? Someone Might mention "exam, test" etc. I was also wondering which ones would be necessary, aside from passing the board exam from the Philippines. What other exams are necessary for getting a license to work here as a Physical Therapist. (Links would help too please) I am going by guesses right now, since I know Nurses in the Philippines need to pass Board Exam, and then take CGFNS or NCLEX before they can work in America. Thank you all for your help and Knowledge. oh boy! so 5 years in the philippines to get a bachelors then I still need to take a masters for.. say 2 -3 more years?? whaaaaa!!!!!! I already have a bachelors in video game art and design from the USA
