Jobs that are in high demand?
Hi guys now I know alot of you will be pissed of at me for wanting to immigrate I don't blame you lol I'm an 19 year old Irish male I am currently doing an IT Science degree Course,Ever since I was a small kid it was MY DREAM to move to the USA.I love the cluture,the music,the people everything about it.I have looked at every possible way of living in the USA i know ALOT about how their immigration works i.e through Spouse,Family,Skilled worker,Asylum Seeker,birth etc. I know there is alot of demand foe nursing and some feilds in medicine does anyone know what jobs or degree may help me.The only thing that gets me through my day at college is knwoing I may be a step closer to America but maybe not :( I have nothing going for me here in Ireland and have nothing to stay her for. (btw I've been in the USA four time and its all that I hyped it up to be) Thanks guys I appreciate it :) @ Irish republic Unfortunatly Irish are white and alot whiter than most American cacsausians aswell lol thanks republic man :) Nope I got my application in early to the diversity lottery this year but whatare the chances of winning :( lol

green card lottery is the best bet. There are not many in demand jobs anymore as there is huge unemployment.

Your best chance is to learn Spanish and pretend to be a Mexican, then if you commmit a crime no one can check your ID. But seriously, IT is a good field. I would say anything in Engineering would be the best. Obviously you know that it helps to get into a field that gives away a lot of H1B visas. If you are good at Math and get a degree in that, it helps as well. Just don't get an Art or Philosophy degree, or a Finance degree. And as the first answer mentioned, there is the Green Card Lottery. You can apply for it every year if you want, but you just missed the cutoff for this year's process.
