A question about USA visa, I hope someone here would know the answer or could point me in the right directions. My friend, a Pinay nursing student, was recently engaged to an American who had started the Fiancée Visa process. They broke up and he supposedly sent a letter to the embassy informing them to cancel the visa application. She is concerned that this would affect her chances for a work visa to the USA or a future fiancé visa? Does she have anything to worry about?

She has allot to worry about. The biggfest single thing with a "single" person is proving intent to return. She started a fiancee visa which proves she intends to reside in the USA. I seriously doubt she will be approved.

I disagree with the last answer. Her intent was to come to the USA for marriage. Since it was canceled in good faith, I dont see a problem in the future with a work visa or a future K1 Fiance Visa. However I do know that a TOURIST visa is much more difficult to obtain and that you have to show strong ties and a high probability that you'll return after coming to the states!
