any nurses moved from uk to usa?
if so can you please tell me how you got your visa, did you have to re-do your degree etc. any info will be very helpful thanks tom

You wouldn't usually have to redo your degree, you would have to write a licencing test out in the United States, and if you passed this, then you would be able to work as an RN in the states. Puertoricans- Please list what you have done to make this country a better place?
I am so sick of people judging me because I am Puertorican! My family and I have made great contributions to our country (USA) and yet people look down on us because of our heritage, it is ridiculous. I have been married almost seven years, no children yet, graduated college with a registered nursing degree, have contributed many hours volunteering with Masonic Lodges and have provided free healthcare services to the public. My husband was in the Marine Corps for eight years served in Operation Iraqi Freedom II and is now a Deputy Sheriff. We have donated our time to many causes that we believe in. NO ONE in my family is on welfare! No one in my family has tons of kids! We do not crowd up 20 people in a Toyota! lol I just want to show people that there are many Puertoricans who love this country and are not all "ghetto".

i know an afghan woman whom is in danger in afghanistan, her parents will kill her if she doesn't get marriid
i know an afghan woman whom is in danger in afghanistan, her parents will kill her if she doesn't get marriid?
she is very smart and she has finished her nursing degree, but her parents won't let her to finish school or work, she used to live in iran so as her parent, but now she is in afghanistan waiting to apply for visa for usa, but the problem is that she has no money and place to stay, her parent are trying to find her, we ( her friends ) are really worry about her, if anybody can give us an advice that we can bring her to usa ( where we live, ( i know her from when i lived in Iran) that would be a big help, and saves a person's live.

Contact the offices of the Senators and Congressmen where you live. Ask what you should do. They have staff whose job it is to help with just these kind of situations.
