Becoming a doctor after BSc Nursing?
I have a BSc nursing degree from Canadian University and would like to go to medical school(become a doctor) in USA.Will my credits from my current Bsc degree get transferred in the medical school? How many years of medical school do I have to attend if I already had few subjects of medical school in my nursing degree?

Transfer credits are up to the individual school so you'll have to inquire at the schools that you are considering. A friend, now deceased, was a BSN for a number of years when she applied for medical school and became a DO. She said once that her nursing background saved her a couple of years though she went to the same school for both.

NONE of your nursing credits will transfer into med school (med school never accepts transfer credits from any other career). It is also very likely you will need to take more undergrad classes to fulfill med school requirements (organic chem, bio chem, physics as nursing ones are not high enough caliber, etc) and science classes more than 5 or so years old often have to be repeated. So you are looking at 4 years med school plus any pre-reqs and however many years of residency. Your nursing education is nothing like the med school one. You also need to take the MCAT exam (med school admission exam), first.
