how do i become a registered nurse in USA,do i need to pay fees?how many years will it take to be a registered?

be moving to the states in june,i just got my green card and will like
to take up a career in nursing,any advice on good schools in atlanta,job
prospects etc,what is the entry level requirement?

It
can take anywhere between 2 and 4 years. You can get a degree from a
technical college in 2, but it will look MUCH better if you attend an
accredited university. The extra 2 years will get you a higher paying
job and more respect during interviews. They are also more competitive.
The entry level requirements also vary depending on the technical school
and the university. The university I attend I believe the average is as
high as a 3.6 and it's extremely competitive.
