I know that first you have to make sure the degree is accepted in the
US. Then you would need to take the NCLEX. If it's been a while since
you were in school, you may want to consider taking an NCLEX course to
refresh. Even if you've specialized, the test is over everything.

needs to contact the Board of Nursing in the state in which she wants
to work. They will tell her how to proceed. They will assess her
education and experience and decide if she is eligible to write the
NCLEX.If she passes she will be granted a nursing license for that
state.
