can i switch from fiancee visa to student visa?
i have a fiancee (k1) visa to USA but my fiance but we had a huge fight and decided not to push through with marriage. can i apply for student visa while in the US? i don't have any work but my mother is there with a green card and she can be my financial support. i had already graduated but i want to stay a little while to be with my mom and maybe i could enrol so i could have a student visa and be with her also? 1) would that be possible? 2)what are the things im supposed to do and how long would it take to process it? 3) what are the requirements? 4)do i have to go back home to process that or could i do that while im in the US? ...we'll be in california.. ...i graduated with a degree in nursing from the Philippines.. ..thank you very much for taking the time to read and answer! =)

You have to leave. You can apply at a school as a foreign student but you would still have to leave and if approved you could then come back.

leave apply if you then qualify reenter ,, most schools will require upfront student tuition's that can be in the thousands stay out of visa status (illegal ) and you will be deported with 10 yrs ban
