Would Amercans take a job offer for $240,000/year now?
Despite the bad economy, there are certain USA employers in the energy and health sectors and nursing that are UNABLE to fill the job openings they need. So one group is offering $240,000 per year salary to any person they can find, even if they don't necessarily meet the training qualifications. Still, they are unable to get enough resumes to fill the spot. How likely would you apply for this kind of position? All you need is some degree from any university and some city planning experience. According to this article I just read. How likely would you apply? The job hours are like 9 to 5, Mon.-Friday? And it's a real struggle for these employers, they just CANNOT seem to fill their openings. If only there was more supply of applicants. A lot of these companies are in energy and health services All you need is a 2-year college degree, anything, why are people so afraid to apply

thats becasue there firing people they don't need, and closing departments that they do not deem important.

That is getting pretty close to the $250000 a year where the gov considers you rich and steals your money for the poor. With my wife working we would really get bent over on that deal. I am turning the job down as well!
