I was wondering if you needed to redo your NCLEX to become a nurse in the USA. I am a Canadian Nurse and would like to work in the USA, Any help would be appreciated.

as you say you are a Canadian nurse.so first you have to contact the nursing board in which state you want to work as a nurse.may be your state wants CGFNS certificate.for become a nurse in USA you must pass nclex to get licence of the state.

What you should do is figure out which state you plan to move to. Some states might have different requirements. Then look at the website for that state (ends in .gov) and then look up their medical board and information about licensing as a nurse in that state. Contact that department via phone or email if you cant find all the information you need on their website.
