Can people with nursing qualification trained in Viet Nam work as a nurse in USA?
or they must be trained more or do a nursing course again in USA so that they can work as a nurse in USA? thanks

You
would have to take the board certification exam and if you failed that
you would have to seek further education/training from an accredited
college.

Most, if not all, states will accept a valid
nursing license earned in Viet Nam as evidence of your qualifications
and will grant you a reciprocal license. All employers will require a
probationary period wherein you'll be expected to learn the
peculiarities of doing the job their way. Fortunately, you'll be paid
while you go through that probationary period. Welcome to the USA!

You
have to apply for a license in the state in which you wish to work.
They will evaluate your education and you will be required to write and
pass the NCLEX exam. Also you will have to deal with retrogression,
which will mean several years wait to get a visa to come to the US to
work.

How does a foreign nurse practice in the USA
How does a foreign nurse practice in the USA?
I am now married to a woman from China; she is a nurse. I am currently waiting for the visa to process so that she can come over here. Meanwhile, I would like to acquire some information on how she can practice nursing in the USA. How does a foreign nurse obtain the necessary requirements to practice nursing in America? And, what are those requirements?

she has to sit the state boards for which ever state you live in, she also MUST be able to speak english flawlessly and be able to prove this, also her original lic. must be able to be verified.
2 :
Her original education would have to be equivalent to a US one. She needs a verified and translated transcript,then she would need to pass an English fluency exam and then the state nursing exam. Of course she would have to have a visa that allows her to work in the first place.

registered nurse in the usa and wants to work in london england?
im currently working here in the usa but thinking of migrating to london, england.. how can i work as a nurse there in london? is my license here in the usa enough to be abale to work there?
